OUR APPROACH

A clear process.
No shortcuts around the evidence.

Every stage should answer a practical question: what do we know, what remains unverified, who is responsible, and what decision comes next?

FROM INQUIRY TO A DOCUMENTED DECISION

Six stages. Defined responsibilities.

01

Initial fit

We establish the nature of the opportunity, its location and stage, the sponsor’s role, the intended use of capital and the proposed timetable.

02

Readiness and scope

The team identifies the information needed for a meaningful review. The scope, confidentiality arrangements and next responsibilities are established before deeper work.

03

Diligence and challenge

Materials are organized and assessed. Key financial, legal, technical and operational assumptions are challenged, with specialist review where appropriate.

04

Potential structure and counterparties

If a credible route emerges, relevant parties discuss possible structures and conditions. Indicative discussions do not replace approval or create a funding commitment.

05

Approvals and documentation

Decision-makers, authority, transaction terms, conditions precedent and obligations are established in the relevant agreements.

06

Execution and reporting

Where a transaction is executed, draw conditions, responsibilities and reporting follow its agreed documents. Oversight is specific to the mandate and structure.

WHAT GOOD PREPARATION LOOKS LIKE

Less ambiguity.
Better conversations.

  • One accountable sponsor and a verified authority chain.
  • A reconciled sources-and-uses schedule.
  • A financial model with transparent assumptions and downside cases.
  • Evidence of site control, permissions or operating rights where relevant.
  • A practical implementation schedule and named delivery partners.
  • Clear disclosure of related parties, existing debt and material risks.

GOVERNANCE

A decision should have
an owner and a record.

We favor documented questions, accountable workstreams and clear decision gates. The quality of a capital conversation depends on both the opportunity and the discipline around it.

Timing varies with the completeness of the submission, the complexity of the opportunity and the relevant parties. No universal approval or funding timeline is promised.
